Rise 2/3/4| Integrating to Genetec

Issue: Adding a Rise 2 to a Genetec server  

Environment: 

• Rise 2 v1.61.7766+ 
• Rise 3 v2.10.2675
• Genetec (Security Desk) v5.8.1.1(5.8.1004.1067)
• NOTE: If Genetec is set to H.265, the associated stream in the camera web page will display a grey screen.

Adding the camera

1. Open the Security Desk or Server Admin Tool and login if needed.
   
   
   
2. Wait for the database and directory to connect before moving to the next step.
3. Open Config Tool
   
   
   
4. Open Video utility: Tasks > Administration > Video
   
   
   
5. Click on Unit enrollment to add a video
   
   
   
6. Select "Manual add > Video
   
   
   
7. Select  Onvif > All to the list.
   Note: If resolution H264 is required only, select "Media1" for the Product type.
8. Select Add and close 
   
   
   
9. Click the device on the left then select Video and confirm under Network Settings Connection Type and select either Unicast UDP or RTSP stream over TCP then click Apply.
   
   
   
   
10. In the camera web page go to Media >Stream Setting > and confirm RTSP Timeout (seconds) is set to 30-60.
11. Once added, the IP address should be seen on the left under the Server name.
    
    
    
12. Close the page and go to Task>Operation>Monitoring
    note: If Monitoring is not seen on the task menu, Click on Tools to add in the Task menu.
    
    
    
13. The Camera will be seen in the tree list.
