Rise | How to Add to Milestone VMS

Environment:

• Rise1
• Rise2
• Rise3
• Milestone XProtect Essential 2016 R3

Procedure:

1. Open management application
2.  Click on the Plus next to "Advanced Configuration" for sub menu
3. Right-click on "Hardware Devices" and select "Add New Hardware Device"
   
   
   
4. The "Add Hardware" menu will appear on the right side.
5. Select "Manually specify the hardware to add"
   
   
   
6. Enter the following information: IP address, user/password, and select "ONVIF Conformant Device" for the driver.
   Note: ONVIF Conformant Device (2-16 Channels) for 4290 series.  
   
7. Press "Next" and you see Status "Connecting".
8. Once the status shows Connected press "Next"
9. Wait until the Configuring your system is completed.
10. Press "Ok" once prompted "Your devices are ready to use"
11. Press "Save" located on the upper right corner of the screen. 
12.  Click on the "Plus" next to "Advanced Configuration" for sub menu
13. Click on the "Plus" next to "Camera and Storage Information" for sub menu
14. Click on the camera you added to confirm the live video. 
    
15. Live Preview should be seen on the right side of the screen.
