RISE and HELIOS supported web browsers

Problem:

Which browser is supported for my series camera?

Solution:

• Helios - Supports IE9 - IE11 only and requires ActiveX controls.
  
  

• Rise1 and Rise2

  • Only supports IE11 and requires ActiveX controls.

  • Current versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox and Safari are supported.

    • Rise1 doesn't stream to those browsers but the client/browser pulls JPEGs. If an MJPEG stream doesn't exist, one will be created automatically by the camera.

    • Rise2 supports an HTML5 player and will stream to the browser.

    • Safari - Rise1 will stream much like Chrome, Edge, and Firefox. It will use JPEG pulls. Rise 2 has not been tested.

  • Note: Rise1 FW v4.1.323 needs a patch for Chrome that will make it v4.1.323.4 or update to CPv5.2.62/RPv5.2.111
