Preventative Maintenance:
- The system is intended for long-term unattended use, and preventative maintenance requirements are minimal
- Corrective maintenance involves periodic function and operational checks, confirming pressurization.
Cleaning Recommendations:
- Clean exterior as needed the system is sealed and watertight so gentle water spray should be sufficient to remove exterior dirt from the camera body and connections (Do not use high-pressure spray to avoid damage to the system body or connector seals)
- Clean the front glass window on the camera body as needed. Use a soft nonabrasive cloth, like terry cloth or microfiber cloth, and a foaming glass cleaner. (avoid abrasive or corrosive cleaning agents)
- If a wiper is present (some model options), gently clean the wiper blade and inspect it. Replace the blade if necessary.
- Confirm camera cable connection is tight and undamaged
- Confirm camera and sun-shield are firmly attached to the mount, retighten mount screws if necessary
- Visually inspect exterior housing for any obvious damages. Dents, front glass damage, corrosion, etc.
- Visually inspect rear cabling and connections for obvious damages to the connector or cabling. Connector damaged or bent, cable kinks, nicks, cuts, etc.
- Look through the front glass for any signs of moisture ingress. Such as fogging or condensing on the interior, or visible corrosion
- Check camera pressure periodically via the camera webpage, the service team pressurizes the cameras to 6-7 PSI. You can find a brief explanation of the camera pressurization here.
Please contact support for an RMA if the camera needs to be repressurized.
