Octima 3440HD | How to update firmware

Equipment: 

• 344xHD-1000 

Factory default Ip address information:

•  IP Address: 192.168.2.150
• Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
• Gateway: 192.168.2.1

Factory Default User and password:

• Administrator Level: admin | admin 

Procedure:

1. You must use Microsoft Edge.
2. Click the " ... " on the upper right of Microsoft Edge then click "Settings".
3. In the search, type "compatibility" then select "Allow" then click "Restart".
   
   
4. Once the page restarts, click "Appearance" and turn on "Internet Explorer Mode (IE Mode) Button".
   
   
5. Open a tab to the camera and click the "IE Mode" button that now appears and log in.
6. Click on the "Camera" drop-down menu.
7. Left-click "Camera Maintenance"
8. Left-click Browse and locate the firmware.
9. Select the firmware and click Open.
10. Left-click "Upload" and wait until File Uploading is completed.
    
11. Once completed, the web page will refresh and you will have to log back in.
12. Confirm the firmware is updated: Camera > Camera Information > Software.
